Richard Sheldon Makes The Cover:
A friend, that I've known for more years than I care to admit, his name is Dick Sheldon. We were stationed at NAS Pamona, just a few miles outside Atlantic City, NJ. in early 1956; for those of you who are counting, that’s over 51 years. Dick was instrumental in getting me back into photography a few years ago, after a rather severe stroke.
Congratulations are in order, Dick just made the cover of the Sept/Oct issue of Agricultural Aviation. He was lamenting that the editor picked a less than stellar shot for the cover. Claims he had so many really good photos to choose from, and couldn’t understand why he chose such an innocuous shot. I’m sure the Editor had his reasons. After all, it isn’t everyday you see an aircraft going over 100 MPH, two feet off the deck. Congratulations once again, Dick !
